Highly recommended. The service was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and friendly. The view was stunning, offering a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Situated right on the beachfront, this place is truly worth a visit. The Moroccan cuisine was outstanding, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. It’s also one of the best spots to watch the sunset while enjoying a cocktail. A must-visit destination when in Boracay.”

5/5 — My #1 spot in Station 1 Kasbar in Boracay truly transported me—step inside and it feels like you’ve jumped to Morocco: bright, beautiful interiors, music in the background, and a buzzing crowd. I went twice this summer (I even booked the hotel next door the second time just to be close!) and the vibe, service, and food were consistently on point. I probably tried half the menu and loved it all: the lamb tagine, beef kebab, shakshuka, hummus, chicken cigars, calamari, and satay. Tons of vegetarian options too—think mezze and hearty egg dishes like shakshuka—so everyone’s happy. Every plate had bold, balanced flavors, and the bar kept the mood going—my cucumber gin & tonic was perfection. The place gets packed with travelers from all over, and I ended up making friends at the next table both nights. Service deserves a shout-out: the staff sings, checks in often, and genuinely goes above and beyond. Their head chef, Chef Richard, is awesome, the owners are great, and the whole place feels welcoming and safe. Sunset here is magic—grab a drink, soak in the music (they even played “Wild World,” which fit the moment perfectly), and enjoy paradise. If you’re in Boracay, this is a must. Kasbar is the vibe. I can't wait to go back!

Went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon Service reminded me of eastern Europe once upon a time You order a drink, a pained smile "I'm sorry sir , but we don't have that today " On to the food then. Plan was some entrees and mains Entrees were zaalouk (delicious) "hommus" ( see below). An attempted order of vegetable cigars ("I'm sorry sir etc") was substituted for chicken cigars . After we had eaten the zaalouk and "hommus" the order for the chicken cigars also got the "I'm sorry sir" treatment As for the hommus - it was bright orange ! Interesting I thought . Then I wokred out they must also be out of tahini but "im sorry sir" would be a bridge too far for hommus in a Moroccan restaurant , so I suspect they blended chickpeas , pumpkin and maybe tomato, with not nearly enough oil . Result was a watery floury sort of dip. Bit like l a beetroot dip in consistency Drinks were margaritas - a bit sweet and extremely weak on the tequila We skipped the mains and left They need to lift their game. If they can't reliably offer something, don't list it on the menu
