From our own visits to Boracay
These are notes taken on the ground, reproduced as they were written:
- Something worth knowing (Check the forecast before you book.): It's tropical all year round but we've had a few visits where the rain was seemingly endless. Check the forecast before you go. To be fair, it's not awful in the rain but it's a lot more fun in the sun!
- Our honest take (One visit is simply not enough): Being married to a Filipina and owning a house in Bulacan, travelling to some of the amazing Islands this country has to offer was imperative. I have spent time in Cebu, Siargao, Palawan and more but Boracy is the island I keep coming back to.

We are straight about which is which. The notes above are first-hand; the rest of the site is desk-researched reference material, kept current. Where a page covers something we have not seen ourselves, it does not pretend otherwise.
