I think that this place is pretty overrated. Ambiance is good, yes and staff are friendly. It’s just that the prices are too high and I think it is not worth it. The cake was too hard to eat and very sweet. The shake is quite delicious but definitely not worth the almost 400 price.
Went here with my friends one rainy day and the restaurant’s assistance when I left my umbrella is praiseworthy. The swing facing the beach would have been cool without the wind breaker but even with it, still nice. Did not really go here for that though. Went here for their acai bowls. One of us tried their crispy shrimp and she went back for it a couple of times during our stay.
The prices are very high compared to the other places. The portions are really big tho. So it is okay for sharing. We got ceasar salad it was okay, tacos had too much rice and very little salmon. Tofu bowl was semi okay, was too much rice and didn’t quite match to quinoa mix. Healthy drinks were really watery and missing the flavour. We paid over 2k+ just for the below dishes. That is quite expensive.
Cafe Maruja has some really nice seatings. We had a great time here. I really like their smoothie bowl and their mocktail selection. The table was spacious and there's no mosquitoes too. They have live music too. When we went, wifi is not working but they do have wifi. I'll defo come back here for the smoothie bowls again if I am in Boracay
The prices are on the slightly higher side, but the vibe of this resto makes it worth it! I loved their iced latte and chicken and fries—so good! Plus, the beach-front swing and stunning view made the whole experience even better. Definitely a chill spot to unwind. 🫶❤️
